Ad solution allows Yell UK to effectively create, package, sell, and bill
for mobile SMS advertising campaigns
Toronto, Ontario and San Francisco, California, January 12, 2009 - Call Genie Inc. (TSX:GNE), a
leading provider of local mobile search and advertising solutions, today announced that Yell, the international directories business, has selected Call Genie’s CG ADvantage Mobile Ad Management Solution for use by its UK telephone-based information service, 118 24 7.
Call Genie was chosen based on its merits of core technology as well as its experience in delivering local and mobile search and advertising solutions to companies in the UK, Europe and North America.
Under the terms of the agreement, Call Genie is providing its CG ADvantage Ad Management system which includes features such as inventory price management, inventory forecasting, field based campaign proposal generation, auto-campaign creation, reporting and final invoicing. These capabilities allow Yell to effectively manage its 118 24 7 ad inventory in a way that enables product packaging to be defined based on UK region and advertising classification. Additionally, CG ADvantage allows Yell’s sales consultants to create real time proposals, based on the available advertising inventory.

The Call Genie ADvantage server is a robust, Internet-class ad server, specifically enhanced to manage the unique characteristics of phone-based ad inventory and local ad campaign targeting. The ADvantage server supports a range of ad types including audio, SMS text, mobile banners, sponsored mobile local search results, priority placement and enhanced listings. Unlike standard Internet ad servers, ADvantage leverages the unique “time and place of need” targeting ability provided by phone-based services. This, combined with user action tracking offers advertisers unprecedented visibility into the performance of their advertising campaigns.
