CALL GENIE ANNOUNCES TEN YEAR CONTRACT WITH TATA

CONSULTANCY SERVICES IN INDIA TO SUPPORT ONE OF WORLD’S

LARGEST TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANIES

 

Call Genie’s CG InteractAgent and CG OpenAgent Search software will allow operators to effectively search

and access listing information for over 35 million subscriber lines in Southeast Asia

 

Toronto, Ontario - November 24, 2008 - Call Genie Inc. (the “Company” or “Call Genie”)(TSX:

GNE) and TATA Consultancy Services (“TATA”) (BSE: TCS.BO, NSE: TCS.NS), a leading IT

services, business solutions and outsourcing organization, today announced a new multi-year

contract regarding a major Southeast Asian telecommunications company, for the use of Call

Genie’s CG InteractAgent and CG OpenAgent Search software.

 

Per the agreement with TATA, the name of the telecommunications company will not be

immediately disclosed.

 

Under the terms of the agreement, Call Genie will provide software to allow operators to effectively

search and access directory listing information for over 35 million subscriber lines. TATA

Consultancy Services will manage the overall engagement including the initial deployment of Call

Genie’s solution as well as the day-to-day and long-term in-region maintenance.

The Company’s ten year contract is based primarily on implementation, licence and ongoing

maintenance fees.
